If the behavior persists, contact their manager and the Human Resources department. Describe your manager's actions in detail, as well as the influence they have on you and your job performance. You may never learn what the boss's boss or the HR department did to assist in the resolution of your bad manager's actions. (Heathfield, 2021)
How To Deal With A Bad Boss?
Talk to your boss - Tell your manager what you need in terms of direction, feedback, and support to succeed. Be kind and focused on your requirements. You must make it clear to the boss what you require. Informing your boss that he or she is a lousy boss is counterproductive and will not assist you in achieving your objectives. (Heathfield, 2021)
Ask the manager - Inquire with the manager about how you might assist them in achieving their objectives. Make sure you pay attention to what he says and provide him the help he needs. (Heathfield, 2021)
Seek a mentor among other managers - To increase your opportunities for experience, look for a mentor among other managers or more skilled colleagues, with your current manager's full knowledge and cooperation. (Heathfield, 2021)
Go to the boss's boss - If you've tried these things and they haven't worked, speak with your boss's boss and ask for help. You can also go to your Human Resources department first to practice and get assistance. Understand that your current boss may never forgive you, so be sure you've done everything you can with him or her before taking your problems to the next level. (Heathfield, 2021)

A competent boss leads by example and knows how to leverage their own skills to help their team achieve. Successful managers collaborate with their employees, coach team members, and foster a diverse workplace. It is critical to convey goals, expectations, and feedback as a manager. (Schooley, 2021)

Working with a bad employer can result is a higher employee turnover rate and it can be very stressful for the individuals working under such person.
